Gold Roth Ira Investments

December 08, 2004 By: Spencer Category: Gold Roth IRA

Is it possible for a Roth IRA to be held in any form of investment? Real Estate/Currencies/Gold/Futures/ etc.?

Is it possible? And if so how?
And when I say Real Estate I don’t mean a fund, I mean a tangible asset. Same with gold, not an etf but Actual gold/silver bars.

Not everything goes, but real estate most certainly does. There will be fees associated as you’ve got to have an intermediary involved.
This gives a good explanation for real estate holdings in an IRA:

For gold/silver here’s an article:

I’m not recommending either company as I don’t have any experience with them, but at least you have some concrete info to work with.
