Money Management

The NYSE has been regarded as a collective investment of trust where people are enriched. The stock market has produced many millionaires who have followed the advice of securities law and invested in shares right at the right time.

Much Americans media have followed suit and put their faith in the stock market in the confidence of the production of building wealth. They are happy to include the S & P 500 Index equity or wealth in two or 401K retirement plan.

Select good investment is often overlooked in professional financial planner or investment research and advisory 401K brokers trust the U.S. average. The scheduler tries to diversify its investments. Sometimes they include gold and other precious metals, because they know that rising gold prices during difficult economic times, like a recession.

The old adage "It takes money to make money" is true on Wall Street. The money you have to invest more, the best portfolio can be created. The average American has had their portfolio 401K offered by the company. Many long-term employees has acquired the shares in their final year of the company shares after year.

In 2001, the average American hard lesson learned with the vaunted Fortune 500 shares of Enron. Whether you were an employee of the company or if you or your financial adviser has decided to include Enron as one of the possibilities of their investment, the collapse of Enron destroys these investors and their pension dreams.

One of my friends told me that he really took a blow with the bankruptcy of Enron, and it must continue to work beyond their planned retirement date. Enron employees lost all their ….. job, your 401K, and all its assets in securities.

Because of greed and manipulation by the corporate bosses of the company, the bankruptcy of Enron has resulted in estimated losses $ 618 million and eliminate $ 1.2 billion in equity. This should be a warning to all investors.

WARNING: Greed and manipulation is part of corporate America! We may never know how many individual lives have been affected by the bankruptcy Enron, and since we do not know how the lives of many American families on average "have been changed by the abuse of U.S. companies in housing and banking crisis of 2007-2008.

In a recent conversation with my brother who shared with me his company stock dropped to $ 0.97 per share below a peak of 57.00 U.S. dollars (December 2006). Its portfolio of shares of the company would be the means by which they pay for her three children to college. But all he has left is a "penny stock". He did not need to ask how many shares he had would not make a difference.

In 2009, the same corporate greed over the past two years goes far beyond Houston, Texas, where Enron was located. Across America, from California to New York average American families who had their hopes and dreams for the future their actions and 401K investments have lost everything including their jobs and their homes. For now 8.5 million Americans have lost their jobs.

Who Do You Trust? "Where can I go to the average United States to invest in your future? Are we ever more able to believe in American business Wall Street brokers, the New York Stock Exchange, banks, financial planners to guide us to a place where you can find a great return on safe investments? Does anyone have any ideas other than investment where to put your money?

Stock my brother will never recover the $ 57.00 value it had before? Then the average American trust themselves with an investment program of its own? Are they willing to do their own? Banks are 3% and return on investment of $ 10,000 CD for 30 months the answer? Does the average American has that kind of cash flow to give the banks?

What is the difference between a 3% return on investment and $ 15,000 $ 15,000 return on an investment of 3000000? The first answer is cash flow. Most Americans may be able to pay three dollars but certainly not fifteen thousand, and especially not for thirty months!

Many people play is against a lot of different reasons. But the stories of Enron in 2001, and corporate America from 2007 to 2008, which we could have confidence count our money with reckless abandon with unregulated hedge funds for their own profit taking.

What is worse – to risk their own money or giving your money to someone else who could play? What is the difference to invest their money in a low risk high return on investment Pick 4 winning or losing, or give your money to a broker who could lose the game?

Each system Investment success depends on knowledge and strategy. If an investor proceeds of any knowledge of this knowledge and strategies that can succeed, too. But the average American does not trust in itself sufficient to manage their own to invest? Or are we stuck with U.S. companies?

High paying jobs in the alternative energy industry?

I can see alternative energy sources as being the future for United States energy consumption as gas and oil prices fluctuate drastically. I am currently 18 and am going to join the military so I can have a lot of my college paid for. Currently I have 10,000 stashed away in gold investments and mutual funds that i was going to put towards my 401k. Anyways I was wondering which alternative energy has the most money in it (six figures)? What jobs in the alternative energy industry can I go into with only a bachelors degree in college that will give me six figure potential? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I live near Sweetwater, Texas and wind energy is really big around here. I don’t know how much money is in it though.

As far as college goes, mechanical or electrical engineering will probably help the most in terms of jobs in non-traditional energy. Traditional oil and gas is more geology-focused.

Any kind of four-year engineering degree will get you six figures after enough experience.

There are some wind farms going up in the middle of Texas, I forget where. It’s one of T. Boone Pickens’ projects.

Keep your money in gold and mutual funds or index funds; don’t get crazy with it.
