is this a good financial plan?
i make 1300/month, my only bill is my cell phone and internet which is 160/month.. this is what i do with the rest.. let me know if this is a good plan
300/month into precious metals mutual fund
175/month into international mutual fund
125/month roth ira
100/month thrift savings plan
250/month into ING savings account
the left over 200-400 i use for gas in my car and spending money
What is your roth ira invested in? You need a general USA mutual fund.
What is the interest rates on the thrift savings plan and the ING savings account?
What is you age, time horizon, and risk tolerance for this money? If you are young, maybe too much going into low return savings plans. If conservative, Get rid of the risky metals fund. If risky, why so much in low return savings plans?
